CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: A SOLIDARITY WALK
Join our collective performance and walking procession—an informal, non-theatrical opening ceremony dedicated to solidarity.
We are seeking artists and individuals from all generations, disciplines, and backgrounds (the “self as a we”) to join a Constructed Situation of unprescribed presence.
No experience is required. This is an invitation to walk, observe, and simply be together in an idiorhythmic way. We will move through public spaces as a silent, visible expression of support and community, transforming the art of the encounter into a collective act of art.
If you value unpreparedness and a ‘guided’ freedom of movement, join us to start a new rhythm.
Tiong Ang & Company: Erase (Rrrhythms). A collective performance as opening ceremony and collective walk from Manchester Art Gallery to the Holden Gallery at Manchester Met, on Tuesday 4 November.
Monday 3 November, 2 – 5pm Grosvener East 1.03: introduction and workshop with artist Tiong Ang and choreographer Andreea David. We would like to make photos and videos of the process.
Tuesday 4 Nov: the performance itself from 3pm for a few hours. Again, we would like to make photos and videos of the process.
